Traci serves as President of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake. As a registered nurse, Traci has made it her mission to take her passion for improving healthcare to various health systems. Prior to her ten years at Harris Southlake, she served nine years as Vice President of Operations for Baylor Regional Medical Center of Grapevine. Traci’s role of change agent foster’s success by maintaining a balanced focus on improving operations, financial and satisfaction initiatives. Traci has been recognized for her ability to assist organizations in achieving desired results by engaging people and changing behaviors in the workplace.
Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing OfficerDebra Ennis, RN
Director of Perioperative Services overseeing the experience of the surgical patient. Debra has a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration. A registered nurse for over 30 years with over 20 years in management. Prior to joining Texas Harris Southlake Debra managed the Perioperative Services at Baylor Grapevine.
Ancillary Services Director / Medical Staff ManagerKaren Adams, BS, RT
Karen and her staff provide the optimal radiology views of our patients that are paramount to successful diagnosing. Her department has realized growth through excellent skills and service to the point of requiring Saturday and Sunday hours to meet the needs of our patients. Karen was the recipient of the Manager of the Year award for 2006. She is registered by the American Registry of Technologists in Radiography and Computed Tomography. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree and has 26 years experience as a Radiology Technologist.
Human Resources DirectorTasha Sledge
Tasha Sledge, SPHR, MBA is the Human Resources Director and has oversight for the daily operations for the HR department. Tasha brings over 18 years of experience in leadership, development, employee relations, training, and organizational development. Prior to joining Texas Health Harris Southlake, Tasha was a resident of Wisconsin working in healthcare for 12 years.
Pharmacy DirectorSubuhi Husain, RPh
Our Pharmacy Department provides medication needs for all of our patients and medication supplies for the hospital as well as providing safe, secure and well-documented medication access for our physicians and nurses. Subuhi graduated from the University of Houston in 1985 and received her license to practice pharmacy in 1986 from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. She has practiced in various capacities in hospitals, home health care settings, and an Intensive Care Unit and Critical Care Unit pharmacist at Duke University Hospital. Our drug formulary is focused and geared towards our patients’ needs and physicians’ requisitions.
IT DirectorKevin Baker
Kevin oversees the IT Department and brings over 20 years of clinical and IT experience. He is not the normal IT guy as he has an IT and Clinical background. He is still a Registered Radiologic Technologist as well as IT Professional. He has a wide variety of experience and background from being an Assistant Director of Radiology at Parkland Memorial Hospital, through IT Integrations and several IT Analyst, Manager and Director Positions with organizations as UTSWMC, Tenet, HCA and THR. With opening everything from MRI Centers to two state of the art hospitals, from the ground up, to coordinating and installing major hospital systems - Kevin is excited and honored to be part of the high quality leadership team here at SouthLake.
Quality & Risk Management, Employee Health & Infection Prevention DirectorKamal Hijjazi PhD, RN, CPHQ, LSSBB
Kamal oversees quality and risk management, infection prevention and control, and employee health services. Kamal has over 30 years of healthcare experience in various clinical, academic, research and administrative settings in the US and overseas. He started his career as a Registered Nurse and earned a Master of Science in Gerontological Nursing and a Doctorate in Gerontology from University of Massachusetts – Boston.
Business Office DirectorValincia Bennett
Valincia is responsible for the daily operations of the business office which includes Health Information Management (HIM), Insurance Verification, Registration, and Scheduling. She has 7 years of healthcare management experience and a background in finance. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University and earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from the University of Texas at Tyler. She has successfully created efficient and effective workflows to improve business operations within healthcare organizations. Prior to joining Texas Health Southlake, Valincia lived in Louisiana and Arkansas. Valincia works diligently every day to keep up with the evolving world of healthcare to ensure her team provides the best patient care possible.
Operating Room, Anesthesia and Sterile Processing DirectorMary Savard, RN
Mary Savard, RN, CNOR is the Manager of the Operating Room, Anesthesia, Pain Department, Sterile Processing and Scheduling. Mary brings over 35 years of experience in hospital environments with her goal of providing a collaborative atmosphere where the physicians and employees can meet the needs of all their patients. She obtained her BSN from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and her MBA from the University of North Texas. She is a certified perioperative nurse and was the recipient of the Manager of the Year for 2012.

As a Registered Nurse for more than 30 years, along with a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Arizona, I have learned the true meaning of being a servant leader in healthcare. This leadership role allows me to empower healthcare providers, ensuring safe passage for patients and their families as they navigate through the health care system and back into their communities. I have been fortunate and blessed to serve as a leader in this noble profession, while assisting fellow nurses with patient care. My greatest joys remain true to my purpose, as a nurse as well as a wife. I have been married to Jerome for 32 years. We have 2 adult sons, an adult daughter (niece), and a granddaughter who keeps us very busy and entertained.

Alayna and her staff provide the highest quality care to our patients in our ER and Inpatient Unit. Her department has realized growth through our recent expansion and services. Alayna was the recipient of the Employee of the Year award for 2014. She was Manager of the Year in 2016. She has been a practicing registered nurse in the great state of Texas for 31 years.
Facility DirectorMichael King
Michael is responsible for building operation and maintenance, safety and security, and environmental services. He has 14 years’ experience as a hospital facilities leader and holds certifications in healthcare facilities management, safety, and construction. Prior to joining Texas Health Southlake, Michael served as facilities director at North Central Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
Radiology ManagerAnthony Romero, RT
Anthony is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography, Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT). He graduated with an Associates of Science Degree, and has 12 years of experience in the field. Patient safety and comfort are always a number one priority for Anthony and his staff. Whether it is finding new ways to calm claustrophobia-prone patients, or ensuring that all equipment and procedures comply with American College of Radiology (ACR) standards, Anthony is committed to providing the best possible experience for patients and our referring physicians.
Physical Therapy Center Manager, Greater Therapy CentersMike Connors
Mike is the Director of our outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic in Bedford. He has a BS in Biology from Stockton College, a Masters in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University, a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Temple University, and is currently pursuing a PhD at Texas Woman's University. Mike is also a board certified specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He is an outside consultant for a professional ballet company in Fort Worth and is an adjunct professor in orthopaedic physical therapy for the DPT program at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. In addition, Mike is the current President of the Texas Physical Therapy Association.
